On the night and days immediately after Boris Johnson smashed Jeremy Corbyn into smithereens, winning a majority of 80, there was relief tinged with excitement among Tories. And not just among Tories. Most of the country did not want Corbyn as Prime Minister and after the Brexit civil war there was a widespread desire to get it - whatever it was - done in order that the country could move on.
