Donald Trump is being hailed as a feminist champion for banning trans athletes from women’s sport with a presidential executive order.
"The war on women’s sport is over," he said. "My administration will not stand by and watch men beat and batter female athletes".
His order covers high schools, universities and grassroots sports and he has said it will also include the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.
