Tom Holland Dominion reader event

The historian Tom Holland’s keenly-awaited next book is Dominion: The Making of the Western Mind. It is a deeply rewarding and exciting read.

Tom will be in conversation with me for our next Reaction event for readers on the evening of Monday 2nd September. The evening is kindly hosted by Maitland/AMO at their London offices.

Dominion, published on September 5th, tells the story of how we came to be what we are and why we think the way that we do. Ranging over millennia, from the Persian invasion of Greece in 480 BC to the migration crisis in Europe today, it explores just what made Christianity so revolutionary and explains why its enduring influence saturates Western culture. This latest work from the author of Dynasty and Shadow of the Sword is published on September 5th 2019.

The ticket price includes a signed first edition hardback (RRP £25) and drinks – served at 6pm. The “in conversation” event begins at 6.30pm.
