Starmer must accept new reality of gender ruling

The PM cannot escape the need for clear-headed direction from government as institutions attempt to navigate the new landscape.

Let there be no doubt that the ruling by the Supreme Court that a woman is defined by biology alone marks a seismic change in British life.
