Hi Iain great article. I’ve been going to Hampden for over 65 years to watch Scotland and so many disappointments and brave failures. Tuesday night was the very best ever and Hampden at the end was rocking like never before the stands bouncing up and down. What an experience, what magnificent goals and what a memory. Thanks again.
I agree the McTominay goal was a classic. But what about Kieran Tierney, another player redeemed by leaving the premier league…in his case by returning to his homeland…after years of injury problems and a thoroughly decent guy by all accounts. Great goals. Great night. Much enjoyed your article.
