All the big donor money may be flying into Kamala Harris’ campaign to become the next president of the United States, but the seriously big betting money is now piling up behind Donald Trump. 

With 12 days to go until one of the most thrilling elections in history, Harris is creaming it in terms of donations. The latest billionaire to back the Democrat candidate is Bill Gates, the Microsoft founder, who is said to have just given $50 million to the Harris coffers. Gates, who has neither confirmed nor denied the amount and who usually stays out of partisan politics, is said to have reasoned: “This election is different.”
