Did internal tensions deny Reform an even bigger victory?

The local election results reveal certain anomalies that carry a warning for Nigel Farage and Reform.

Any day on which Labour, the Tories and the Duke of Sussex all suffer crushing defeats can only be classified as red letter, making last Thursday a celebratory date in the calendar. There was an almost Old Testament flavour to many of the defeats, a smiting of the Amalekites on a scale not witnessed since biblical times.
